Experience the freedom of flight led by aerial artists Mara Neimanis (Air Heart, Baba Yaga at the Cherry) and Morgan Mincer (Stella Adler Studio)!
In this workshop, participants will use a low-flying aerial harness and sculpture to investigate the exciting transformational qualities in physical problem-solving that comes from developing movement both on and off the ground.
Workshops will be augmented by Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® techniques, which provide gentle guidance on incorporating more optimal movement patterns into how the body functions in daily routines or in any athletic or artistic endeavor.
Participants will be asked to reflect on prompts we will provide you around power, independence, connection, and community; your responses will help to guide your explorations. The discoveries made in these workshops will form part of the development of a new performance featuring Mara Neimanis and Morgan Mincer that will debut at The Cherry in January 2026
