Baba Yaga at the Cherry Arts

A circus play for the whole family, woven from the tapestry of Slavic folktales. The candle has been blown out, and young Vasilisa must get the light back for her family. But she has to get it from Baba Yaga—the mysterious witch who lives in the woods in a house on chicken legs!

For ages 7 to 97, this show features aerial performance, shadow puppetry, and physical theatre, and is sure to make you giggle and gasp!

The Brobot Adventure at Kitchen Theatre Company

An intergalactic journey of joy, connection, and creativity that defies space and time.

Join Flobot Owens, a legendary Hip-Hop android MC, as he battles the sinister forces of Wackness to save his home, Planet Nubian. With the help of the audience, Flobot must use the power of music, dance, and collective energy to reignite the Brobot Beacon and restore dopeness across the galaxy. Packed with live beatboxing, sci-fi hip-hop beats, and audience participation!

Signal Flow is an assortment of devices that create unusual experiences for the spectator through interactive audio, smell, and even fortune-telling. Ithaca artist Norm Scott invites visitors to operate many of the mechanisms, engaging all the senses of the audience with playful explorations of music-making, storytelling, and—yes—imagineering.
