Cast Bios

Marc Gomes Previous Cherry: The Wetsuitman. Marc is a teacher, writer and actor in television, film and on stage. He is a member of Third Space Performance Lab with artist/scholar Shanti Pillai. Their work has been presented at UC Berkeley, USC, Brown University, the GATI Institute in Delhi, and most recently at Cornell and Williams College. He is also an original artist with The Unusual Suspects Theater Company in Los Angeles. Marc received a UNIDO CEMA for his screenplay adaptation of the Caribbean classic, Corentyne Thunder. Marc is an avid cyclist and bicycling advocate.
Elizabeth Mozer Previous Cherry: George Kaplan, Felt Sad Posted a Frog, And What Happens If I Don’t, The Asylum Project. She provided the movement direction for An Odyssey (Hangar Theatre-Cherry Arts co-production). Elizabeth is an actress, theatre maker, director, and educator, with a specialization in movement. Elizabeth’s performance of her one-woman play The Asylum Project received the award for Best Drama at the United Solo Theatre Festival in NYC. She has been an original cast member in the Broadway productions Teddy & Alice, Dangerous Games and Victor/Victoria. Elizabeth’s play Castle on the Hill was recently published by Next Stage Press and she’s currently developing a new work based on the lives of environmental activists. Elizabeth is an Associate Professor at Binghamton University and a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
Jacob Garrett White Previous Cherry: George Kaplan, White Rabbit Red Rabbit, and Rule of Thumb. Jacob is an actor and social worker. His NYC theatre credits include: The Barrow Group’s Pentecost, Lobby Hero, and The Faithful, TFANA’s Julius Caesar, and The Public Theatre/NYSF’s Cymbeline. Regionally he has performed in: The Old Globe & Goodman Theater’s Floyd Collins, NJ Rep’s Panama, Color of Flesh, and Emil, Axial Theater’s Lost in Paradise, and the Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati’s Keeping the Faith. Locally, Jacob has performed with Homecoming Players, Civic Ensemble, and the Hangar Theatre. Thank you to Jen and Audie!
