Favorite aspect of theatre to work on: Collaborating with different kinds of artists to create a unique experience for everyone involved, and watching people connect with what’s onstage. I also love performing; getting lost in the characters I play is exhilarating.

Theatre artist inspiration: I admire Lin-Manuel Miranda and Lea Salonga for bringing POC onstage, and for being outspoken advocates for representation. I enjoy plays by Sarah Ruhl. I love Heathers, Little Shop of Horrors, West Side Story, Dreamgirls, and Next to Normal.  Amanda Palmer, while not exactly of the theatre but is certainly theatrical, is an eccentric artist which I admire for being confident in her outlandish and experimental ideas.

Project most proud of: I was a lead in an original jukebox musical called On The Devil’s Back and while there were many difficulties in the production, we pushed through and still made a good show.

Dream Job: Managing some theatre somewhere
