Voices of Ukraine

Elizabeth is an actress, director, theatre maker and educator. Previous Cherry: Carbon, George Kaplan, And What Happens If I Don’t, Felt Sad, Posted a Frog, and Asylum and movement direction for An Odyssey (Hangar Theatre-Cherry Arts co-production). Elizabeth’s performance of her one-woman play The Asylum Project received the award for Best Drama at the United Solo Theatre Festival in NYC. She has been an original cast member in the Broadway productions Teddy & Alice, Dangerous Games, and Victor/Victoria. Elizabeth’s play Castle on the Hill has been published by Next Stage Press and she’s currently developing two new works. Elizabeth is an Associate Professor at Binghamton University and a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.

Previous Cherry: George Kaplan, White Rabbit Red Rabbit, and Rule of Thumb. Jacob is an actor and social worker. His NYC theatre credits include: The Barrow Group’s Pentecost, Lobby Hero, and The Faithful, TFANA’s Julius Caesar, and The Public Theatre/NYSF’s Cymbeline. Regionally he has performed in: The Old Globe & Goodman Theater’s Floyd Collins, NJ Rep’s Panama, Color of Flesh, and Emil, Axial Theater’s Lost in Paradise, and the Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati’s Keeping the Faith. Locally, Jacob has performed with Homecoming Players, Civic Ensemble, and the Hangar Theatre.

Sylvie studied BFA Acting at The Mason Gross School at Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Actors Workshop of Ithaca.

Nick is a 2023 graduate of the Ithaca College Musical Theatre BFA program.

Mary is an Academic Content Creator at the Cornell School of business. She is also a writer, editor, composer, producer and performer!

Vito is an Endicott native and has acted in the Binghampton area for 5 years. Notable roles include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Endicott Performing Arts Center), Jimmy Ray Dobbs in Bright Star (Ti-Ahwaga Community Players) and Bruce Niles in The Normal Heart (BLAST Productions).

RJ’s theatre credits include props management for Civic Ensemble’s Fertile Grounds and Kitchen Theatre Company’s Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, with on stage appearances in And What Happens If I Don’t and Voices of Ukraine, both at the Cherry. R.J. has studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Dramatist Guild, Barrow Group, and Actor’s Workshop of Ithaca.

Sterling recently graduated from Ithaca College’s musical theatre program and moved to NYC. He is a physically versatile actor, being proficient in several forms of dance, physical comedy, stage combat, as well as parkour and freerunning

Austin currently works at ECU School of Theatre and Dance faculty as an Associate Professor of Acting. Previously he resided in Ithaca where he taught all levels of acting in the BFA Performance program at Ithaca College.He is an actor, director, and film/media maker. Acting credits include: (New York) – Classic Stage Company, The Roundabout Theatre, The Public Theatre, Prospect Theatre Company, and Clubbed Thumb. (Regionally) – The Hangar Theatre, The Kitchen Theatre, The Cherry Arts, Yale Repertory, Yale Cabaret, and The Stamford Center of the Arts. (Film& TV) Bad Things, Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, and Lipstick Jungle. Austin is the co-creator of the web series Meantime.

Jordan is an NYC based queer theatre artist and an Ithaca College Grad (BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2024).

Meredith K Brown is a Musical theatre graduate from Ithaca College. Favorite credits include Small Allison in Fun Home at Ithaca College and Annie in Annie Get Your Gun at the Jackson Hole Playhouse.

Greg Bostwick has expertise in acting, voice, speech, and dialects.An M.F.A. in Acting from Southern Methodist University and certificate from Central School of Speech and Drama (London). And is now a retired professor of Ithaca College.

Marissa (she/her) is an actress, singer, writer and producer who found a passion for
artistry at a young age. After attending The USDAN Center for Creative and Performing Arts as a child, Marissa knew early on that she wanted to spend the rest of her life calling the theatre her home away from home. Now that she has graduated from both The Actor’s Workshop of Ithaca (AWI) Sanford Meisner Technique Program and Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications, Marissa is beyond thrilled to marry her two areas of expertise and continue her artistic endeavors right here in Ithaca! Production, marketing and teaching credits include: Marketing &Ticketing Manager for Kitchen Theatre Company, Production Manager and Teaching
Assistant for AWI, Assistant Company Manager and Marketing Director for Hope on Stage at The Hangar Theatre, Marketing Consultant for Ithaca Fringe, along with various freelance film production projects.
