The Camilla Schade Studio, adjacent to the Cherry Gallery, is located on the ground floor of Ithaca Arthaus, an apartment complex that in part offers supportive housing to young people who have previously been housing insecure.

Alongside our public-facing programming, the Cherry Arts offers arts programs to serve folks who live in the Arthaus and their allied communities, including the popular annual Arthaus Residents and Allies Exhibition. Many artists participating in this exhibition are attendees of the Cherry’s weekly Art Hive Open Studio, a free community makers’ space where Arthaus residents and community members are all welcome to connect, make art, and be creative together in the Camilla Schade Studio.

With support from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Rehearsal and Studio Space for Performing Arts Grant, use of the Camilla Schade Studio is absolutely free to producing artists and companies for development of new works of performance.
