After a fabulous premiere in June, 2018, Pop’d! at The Cherry is coming back to the artspace Saturday, February 2nd at 9:30pm! This pop-up dance club experience will entail music, movement, and merriment all night long in a safe, inclusive space. Ithaca’s top DJ’s, dancers, and entertainers will be featured at this provocatively sweet dance party.
The party will include amazing dance music by Dj Cappel and Spirit Posse‘s The Dutchess, performances by Erin the Axe, Coraline Chardonnay, Veruka Dagger, Octavia Solá, Deja Ciaschi, The Mighty Mickie Quinn as emcees and local elebrity guest bartender Lindsay LeBlanc at the helm of beverage central.
Great prizes will be raffled to support the Advocacy Center’s Barstander Intervention Program – training sessions that empower bartenders and nightlife workers to intervene and prevent sexual assault.

POP’d at the Cherry is the brain child of Jonny Tunnell of the Spirit Posse DJ Crew, producer/MC Mighty Mickie Quinn, and Cherry Arts Artistic Director Samuel Buggeln, who came together with the vision of creating a safe and inclusive space to celebrate movement, dance, and performance.
